Everything You Need to Know About TaxDome’s First-Ever Price Change

Since April 2019, TaxDome has evolved from a document and client management tool to a full-fledged practice management suite that enables firms to communicate with clients and employees, establish procedures and scale their business.

We’ve worked with you (our community!) to innovate and improve TaxDome; releasing new features, such as calendar view, integration with schedulers, robust workflow automations, wiki pages, and much more. Our commitment to you is to continue to build and advance the tools of your practice. And among the things we’ve been working on lately: robust time & billing, recurring invoices, proposals, a fast and friendly client app and tax transcripts.

We recognize that price changes are never taken lightly, but we made this decision to reflect the added value since our launch and to ensure that we can keep investing in a superior experience for your practice. We are announcing our first-ever price change that will go into effect on February 13, 2023.

We are adding a new multi-year plan that allows you to keep the same subscription price; details on this option below.

  • We’re changing the price of the annual TaxDome Pro plan — from $600 to $800 per user.
  • Monthly subscription price changes from $75 to $85 per user.
  • Multi-year subscriptions are now possible, allowing you to keep your price the same as it has been for the past 5 years.
    • If you purchase a 3-year plan, the price per user stays at $600 per year.
    • A 2-year plan will cost $700 per user, per year.
  • A button will be added to your portal shortly so that you can choose which plan works for you. There is nothing you need to do at this time.
  • Every user in your firm can be on their own subscription duration; the firm owner can be on a 3-year subscription with 1-, 2- or 3-year subscriptions for employees.
  • Changes will take effect on February 13, 2023.

Option to choose multi-year plan

These changes will take effect on February 13, 2023. We’ll be in touch with account owners via email with more details in the coming days.

Some key points for existing clients to note:

  • If your subscription ends before February 13, 2023, the subscription will renew at the current rate.
  • If your subscription ends after February 13, 2023, you will be able to go to the settings area of your workspace and choose a subscription duration of 1, 2 or 3 years. A button will be added to your portal so that you can choose the plan that works for you. To lock in the existing rate of $50/month, choose a 3-year subscription.
  • If you don’t change the subscription duration, your license will renew for one year at $800 per user.

Our mission has always been to help you run your practice more efficiently. As TaxDome continues to evolve, we’ll keep innovating to ensure that we’re staying ahead of the needs of our community. We love getting your feedback, so we encourage you to continue sharing your thoughts and ideas — and we’ll always do our best to deliver on your requests.
