How does the referral program work?

Your unique referral link takes your referrals to an offer page where they can learn more about TaxDome and start a trial.

  • If the referral link was shared by a firm owner: once the referred prospect becomes a customer, your firm will receive a license extension of 1 user-month.
  • If the referral link was shared by a team member: once the referred prospect becomes a customer, that team member will receive a $100 Amazon gift card.

What are user-months?

A user-month is 30 days, divided by the number of annual users in your firm.

How does my referral link work?

Your link is unique to you. Every time someone clicks on it and visits the TaxDome website, we know that this person used your link.

When they sign up or start a trial, we know whom we owe a reward.

To track your referrals, click on Growth Solutions → Refer & earn in the left menu in TaxDome to see how many referrals clicked on your links, started a trial or purchased a subscription.

Where should I share my referral link?

Everywhere you interact with your peers. Talk to fellow accounting, tax and bookkeeping professionals, share on social media, link it on your website, or add it to your email signature.

Who can sign up from my referral link?

Any firm that is not currently using TaxDome. Here’s more on our Partner Program Agreement.

Do I need to do anything to sign up for the referral program?

No, you are automatically added to the referral program. You can access your unique link by clicking the Refer & save in the top right of any page in TaxDome.

How and when do I get my reward?

Once your referral becomes a paying TaxDome customer, the user-months will be automatically added to your license.

Note that this process may take up to two weeks. If you still haven’t received your reward, success@taxdome.com

What can I do to have more successful referrals?

Here’s what we can advise:

  • Customize your referral link to add a personal touch
  • Keep your link at hand and ready to share in discussions on social media
  • Follow up with your referrals — check on your peers in case they have any concerns or questions about using TaxDome. It’s a win-win scenario – you help them power their practice and get rewarded for doing so!
  • Share the reasons for why you love TaxDome, along with your unique referral link
