You can use TaxDome with any tax program: Drake, UltraTax, Lacerte, CCH, TaxWise, ProSeries, etc. Contacts are exported from those programs, then all files are simply imported or printed from your to TaxDome via the desktop application. So, TaxDome acts like a printer on your PC.

Which steps are required to transfer information from my tax management system to TaxDome?

Documents become available to your clients as soon as you scan and print them from your tax software to TaxDome. TaxDome supports a lot of tax software, no doubt it integrates and works correctly.
