Company positioning: the philosophy behind TaxDome and Financial Cents
Financial Cents is practice management software designed specifically for accounting professionals. It provides tools to track time, manage projects, analyze capacity and productivity, and collaborate with clients. However, Financial Cents is limited when it comes to capabilities other than project management.
TaxDome is an end-to-end solution built for tax pros and accounting firms. In addition to robust practice management features such as workflow automation, document management and unlimited e-signatures, TaxDome offers specialized features for tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll and more.
Not only does TaxDome assist with firm management, but also provides the ability to communicate with the clients through an industry-leading client portal and mobile apps for iOS and Android. While Financial Cents has a portal, it is limited and requires integration with other tools — e.g. e-signature, which is included and unlimited with TaxDome.
With an integrated CRM, workflow, unlimited secure document storage, electronic signature, time and billing and a user-friendly client portal and mobile app, TaxDome enables teams to communicate effectively and run entire practices remotely.
Financial Cents provides a solid foundation for managing an accounting firm, in the same way concrete forms the foundation of a building. But you need much more than that to create a functional structure.
In addition to the foundation, TaxDome offers all the framing, drywall, electricity and finishes you need to build your full tax and accounting practice.

What users think of TaxDome
Chris Y., Chief Business Officer
TaxDome has just the features we needed. Their interface is not overly cluttered like other programs, which can overwhelm new users. TaxDome is straightforward, and there are more than enough online videos to walk you through how to use the program. Financial Cents were missing some integration components and document management features.

Once we found TaxDome and moved our client success processes from Trello, ClickUp, Excel, and other management software, we were able to handle significantly more clients with this time.

I love that everything for managing clients, file sharing, gathering and requesting documents and the smart email inbox, is all in one place. I have been using a number of solutions that don’t integrate thoroughly to achieve these things and finally, I can have all these features in one place at a fair price.
