Is my data secure during the transition?

Yes. Data security is a top priority at every stage. TaxDome follows industry best practices for encryption, access control, and compliance to ensure your firm’s and clients’ data remains protected. Some of these practices are:

  • All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 and at rest using AES-256. Encryption keys are rotated regularly to maintain protection.
  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA), role-based access controls (RBAC), and automatic device locking ensure only authorized users can access the data they need.
  • TaxDome runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and uses advanced network protections such as virtual private clouds (VPCs), security groups, web application firewalls, and DDoS protection via Cloudflare.
  • TaxDome is SOC 2 Type II certified, demonstrating independently verified controls for security, availability, and confidentiality. Firms can request the official report if needed.
