TaxDome is the Best!!

I began using TaxDome 14 days ago and my experience has been phenomenal! I was so impressed with the organizers and the automations! The organizers contained all of the questions that need to be asked to tax clients, whether an individual or a business client. I loved most that we can set conditions on questions so clients don't have to answer questions that don't correlate to their circumstance. The automations were amazing as well!! Not having to manually send clients proposals and invoices makes the onboarding process so much more efficient. No to mention, the automations will keep clients updated about the status of their return at all stages. The engagement letters are also superb! They contain all of the necessary verbiage to outline what services clients are receiving and not receiving. They also contain key language that protects me as a business owner by clearing outlining the terms of the service. Again, as a new user of TaxDome I am very impressed and there's so many other features I haven't explored yet!

What do you dislike about TaxDome? There is nothing that I dislike about TaxDome. It's a really great product!

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? TaxDome is solving a few problems for me. TaxDome is removing so much of the manual process from my workflow. No longer do I have to search on external sites for proposals and contract agreements. I can now invoice my clients and collect payment all in one place. The automations are absolutely amazing! The ability to auto send engagement letters, proposals, invoices, reminders, status updates, and so much more is just fantastic!

I been been hopping from software to software looking for something for my tax and accounting firm. I love this it offers a better way to communicate with clients and all the automations ive been looking for to free up more time. I dont have to spend hours preparing proposals for clients i can literally send them now while on the call with a few clicks. keeping me and team organized, clients can see where we are with their process so they dont have to call asking a billion times etc.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? nothing so far, i thnk its great, initially i wanted the appointment scheduler included so clients can easily schedule a paid consult without having to go outside the platform but its ok!

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? i can easily manage my clients their files and communications. send marketing emails in bulk. Work flows that we can all keep track of and the jobs feature so client work can be separated

TaxDome makes practice management easier

I wasn't really using any practice management software before trying TaxDome. I did a few free trials, and here's what I liked about TaxDome relative to the other options out there: - Pricing is very straight forward and pretty fair - The feature set is broad, making other subscriptions unneccessary - It's an end-to-end solution that can integrate and automate pretty much the entire client cycle (new client onboarding, proposals, engagement letters, payment collection, workflow management, document management, client portal and document delivery, e-signature, Google review requests, etc.) - The service is continually improving, adding features and making things easier - So much of the program is customizable so that we can set up the systems and processes in the way that makes sense for us - The support is robust and easy to access. They have lots of instructional blog posts and pre-recorded content on most every topic and the live support is easy to schedule, too. I'm confident that when I run into issues, there will be either self-helf support or live support to help me along the way. Not only do I like what TaxDome can do, my clients have commented on how much they like the new system.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? There are a few things I preferred about the competition: - Their proposal system doesn't yet include being able to offer three different packages (like Practice Ignition), but they are scheduled to add that functionality by June 2024 - Their IRS transcript service doesn't seem as robust as what Canopy offers but tax resolution isn't a big part of my practice so I'm not too worried about that. Also, it's possible that this feature will improve over time, too. Also, because there is so much that can be customized, there is a bit of a learning curve. There are lots of templates, but we've gone through and modified most everything to fit our small firm. Make sure you allot enough time for getting things up and running. I think this would apply to most any of the other solutions out there, too.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? The main reason I started looking at TaxDome and its competition was for improving our workflow management. In prior years, I had just been using a spreadsheet to track our various projects, and that just wasn't getting it done. After I started researching workflow management solutions, I found that I wanted an all-in-one solution like TaxDome both for cost management as well as continuity through the practice. It's working pretty well so far, and I'm sure we'll tweak it to improve it as we go.

The Real Deal in Practice Management Software

I am exhausted by the need to get so many different applications to run my firm. Now I have 1 place with all the applications I need. TaxDome really does deliver on this promise. Client request forms, portal for shared documents, workflows and checklist, e-sign capabilities, proposals, and basic CRM. And unlike other SaaS companies, they have taken the time to provide valuable customer support and comprehesive video tutorials.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? While you can merge .pdfs in TaxDome, I like to create a single PDF with bookmarks to all the relevant client documents for a tax return. Perhaps a stronger pdf editor might be useful, especially if integrated with AI to automatically bookmark client documents!

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? Providing all the SaaS tools I need in one product to conquer all the basic functions required for a tax and accounting firm.

I was sold on TaxDome the day I started my free trial!

The plethora of resources that TaxDome provides makes it extremely easy to use all of the tools on the platform. Implementation is a breeze after watching the corresponding videos. Customer Support has been exceptional, even during the trial period. Our firm uses TaxDome on a daily basis to interact with our clients, share documents, send proposals/engagement letters and invoices. The number of features is impressive! Integrating TaxDome was easier than I expected, thanks to their fantastic integrating team!

What do you dislike about TaxDome? I have found very few "downsides" to using tax dome. The features that I have found do not align with our firm's needs, we simply don't use them. TaxDome has made it possible to customize most features to match the firm's needs.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? TaxDome is allowing us to streamline our processes, communication and engagements.

Good product to manage work

It integrates many different apps like proposals and payment collections, work-management, team-management, and a great client portal app in 1. They also have great support, help videos etc.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? Would be helpful if they invented a way to follow up on actual bank transactions for the most common bookkeeping tasks. i.e. a mix of a google-sheet with an organizer, but in a simple format within tax dome and the app.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? Having a complete suite of products in one, i.e. invoicing clients for accounting services provided to them, and giving them the option to pay very easily over their phones. Having proposals and engagement letters, monthly-work flow management, and basically integrating all items needed to manage a Firm and the Firm's clients' work.

Everything you need in one place

TaxDome is great because it eliminates the need to login to multiple softwares. Everything from billing, to document management, proposals and communicate can be run throught TaxDome. They are great about responding to user feedback and tailoring their features to fit user requests. Customer support was also good.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? I would like to see the ability to text users directly through TaxDome. It is my understanding they will be rolling out this feature in the months ahead.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? Consolidation of systems, document management, billing, and client communication.

I'm a new user but it's so far so good!

There are a lot of automation that can be set up in the software, workflows that can be documented, communication is housed in one area and it can integrate with other areas of my practice. I'm still in the process of setting the software up but I'm liking it so far.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? The workflows are sometimes a bit difficult/complex to set up even though there are guides and videos available on the website. It would be good to have a function for proposals or recurring billing but I believe these are on the product roadmap.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? Communication is housed in one software so it is easy to identify what has been discussed with the client or internally. If someone was on vacation, then there aren't any missing pieces. I'm a sole practitioner for now, but I feel this would be a good tool once I expand my team. Automated workflows seem great so far and it will help with efficiency. I can just use one app for most of my practice so I don't need to jump from app to app.

It took time, important getting client to upload the documents, vs email searching info.

Pros: I am able to get e-signtures on the proposals in one place, helping with price increases.Create folder templates

Cons: I found the template download and checklist not working for me, eventually understood located library unitl paid for it - not work.Create Folders for templates, confusing - able create a template with all the necessary field.s

Great integration, could use some more customization for templates

Cons: I wish that there was more customization options for invoices, proposals/templates - with branding and customized tokens.

Good introductory CRM for CPA firm

Overall, I have benefited from using TaxDome. I am in it everyday and it is keeping me more organized with my clients' information including contact information and documents.

Pros: It is great to have all of my clients in one place where I can send group emails or just message one at a time. Sending contracts or proposals is very easy. It is great to tell my clients I have an app they can use to upload documents or securely send messages back and forth.

Cons: I don't like that there is not a reporting feature where you can find out what contracts were signed in a certain period of time. You have to go to each account in order to find the signed contract. I have had some clients say they can't figure out how to upload documents. I wish it had a calendar option for scheduling appointments and then automatically sending clients reminders.
