I am impressed by the multitude of features and flexibility of TaxDome. My primary objective was to make it as easy as possible for my clients to work with me. TaxDome enabled me to achieve that, as well as improving the efficiency of busness operations on a daily basis.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? There's a bit of a learning curve, but Dominque of the Customer Success team has been a tremendous help with overcoming that via several free implementation sessions.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? TaxDome enabled me to customize tax organizers so that clients are only asked to provide responses to questions that are relevant to them, unlike the lengthy generic PDF organizers I used in the past.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? I wish Taxdome to have a better app for desktop users

What do you dislike about TaxDome? I dont like that you cannot talk to someone on the phone and that they do not allow for monthly subscription plans like other places. Nor do they offer marketing options for tax clients.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? Keeping client data in one place

2024 will be my 4th year using TaxDome in my Tax Practice and this year I added a student to help with tax season. Adding a second user this year was easy and I am looking forward to building on automating more of the processes and workflow this year.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? Small issue getting the monthly user set up. It is fixed now it was a currency issue. Canada Dollar and USD.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? Automating workflow, improving processes and task management and tracking.

I love the integrated features with Quickbooks and now Zapier which is a new system that we are currently integrating. My clients often remark on how user friendly the software is and how accessible the portal is for users. I particularly like the messaging feature within the system as this helps keep ontop of any secure documents the client has sent.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? Currently I have not experienced any downsides to using the system. A nice to have will be the AML integration going forward however it is not a need to have currently.

I like TD since everything I need is under one application. Portal, client communications, proposal to engagement letters and payments, workflow automations. Clients can also download TD app on their phone where they can communicate, scan/upload docs etc. The application is easy to use, compared to others I've tried in the past.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? Unfortunately, TD Drive does not sync with Mac OS; only Windows. TD Team has told me they are working on it and have upvoted. I really hope this feature becomes available to make my work efficient and speedy.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? Saving cost and time by having all necessary tools in one.

I love that this platform allows for me to check in on the status of my company in one place. Having the ability to run my firm using one platform allows us to spend less time on administration issues and frees us up to do more of what we love, working with our clients.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? The e-signature platform is less than desirable. I wish that it had the capability/allowed for us to send people e-signature documents without having to log into the program, similar to DropBox Sign, PandaDoc or Docusign.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? It allows us to better manage the workflows associated with different services for our clients.

I began using TaxDome 14 days ago and my experience has been phenomenal! I was so impressed with the organizers and the automations! The organizers contained all of the questions that need to be asked to tax clients, whether an individual or a business client. I loved most that we can set conditions on questions so clients don't have to answer questions that don't correlate to their circumstance. The automations were amazing as well!! Not having to manually send clients proposals and invoices makes the onboarding process so much more efficient. No to mention, the automations will keep clients updated about the status of their return at all stages. The engagement letters are also superb! They contain all of the necessary verbiage to outline what services clients are receiving and not receiving. They also contain key language that protects me as a business owner by clearing outlining the terms of the service. Again, as a new user of TaxDome I am very impressed and there's so many other features I haven't explored yet!

What do you dislike about TaxDome? There is nothing that I dislike about TaxDome. It's a really great product!

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? TaxDome is solving a few problems for me. TaxDome is removing so much of the manual process from my workflow. No longer do I have to search on external sites for proposals and contract agreements. I can now invoice my clients and collect payment all in one place. The automations are absolutely amazing! The ability to auto send engagement letters, proposals, invoices, reminders, status updates, and so much more is just fantastic!

Just finished my free trial and signed up for the three-year plan. I'm all in! It seems to have everything I need and even made me think of a few things I didn't realize I would need.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? With so many potential uses, there is a lot to learn.

Huge flexibility in workflow and automations. Secure, flexible, document storage with a simple client portal. And flat, simple pricing, so the more clients you have, the more cost-efficient it becomes.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? The amount of customization possible can be daunting, but TaxDome Academy provides comprehensive training articles and videos to teach users.

Still pretty new to TaxDome but the automatic workflows have been great. I love that there are so many templates to choose from.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? I wish the Zapier connection had more options. Even something like ability to add an account and not just a contact would be awesome.

I been been hopping from software to software looking for something for my tax and accounting firm. I love this it offers a better way to communicate with clients and all the automations ive been looking for to free up more time. I dont have to spend hours preparing proposals for clients i can literally send them now while on the call with a few clicks. keeping me and team organized, clients can see where we are with their process so they dont have to call asking a billion times etc.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? nothing so far, i thnk its great, initially i wanted the appointment scheduler included so clients can easily schedule a paid consult without having to go outside the platform but its ok!

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? i can easily manage my clients their files and communications. send marketing emails in bulk. Work flows that we can all keep track of and the jobs feature so client work can be separated

I wasn't really using any practice management software before trying TaxDome. I did a few free trials, and here's what I liked about TaxDome relative to the other options out there: - Pricing is very straight forward and pretty fair - The feature set is broad, making other subscriptions unneccessary - It's an end-to-end solution that can integrate and automate pretty much the entire client cycle (new client onboarding, proposals, engagement letters, payment collection, workflow management, document management, client portal and document delivery, e-signature, Google review requests, etc.) - The service is continually improving, adding features and making things easier - So much of the program is customizable so that we can set up the systems and processes in the way that makes sense for us - The support is robust and easy to access. They have lots of instructional blog posts and pre-recorded content on most every topic and the live support is easy to schedule, too. I'm confident that when I run into issues, there will be either self-helf support or live support to help me along the way. Not only do I like what TaxDome can do, my clients have commented on how much they like the new system.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? There are a few things I preferred about the competition: - Their proposal system doesn't yet include being able to offer three different packages (like Practice Ignition), but they are scheduled to add that functionality by June 2024 - Their IRS transcript service doesn't seem as robust as what Canopy offers but tax resolution isn't a big part of my practice so I'm not too worried about that. Also, it's possible that this feature will improve over time, too. Also, because there is so much that can be customized, there is a bit of a learning curve. There are lots of templates, but we've gone through and modified most everything to fit our small firm. Make sure you allot enough time for getting things up and running. I think this would apply to most any of the other solutions out there, too.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? The main reason I started looking at TaxDome and its competition was for improving our workflow management. In prior years, I had just been using a spreadsheet to track our various projects, and that just wasn't getting it done. After I started researching workflow management solutions, I found that I wanted an all-in-one solution like TaxDome both for cost management as well as continuity through the practice. It's working pretty well so far, and I'm sure we'll tweak it to improve it as we go.

Onboarding team is just amazing! They make all these numerous functionalietes so easy to adopt and start working with very quickly. The best thing about TaxDome is the time savings generated by having the entire process from documentation gathering through approval to e-signatures (which are by the way unlimited!!) in one single platform! Absolutely loving TaxDome and would highly recommed it to anyone considering it for their practice/firm.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? I don't like invoicing & payments module. I would be helpful if some additional payment methods are allowed (e.g. Zelle transfers)
