Pros: As someone who handles their own taxes, TaxDome has been an absolute lifesaver. Having everything organized in one place makes the whole process so much smoother. I can easily upload all my documents, communicate securely with my tax preparer, and track the progress of my returns. The automated reminders ensure I never miss a deadline. TaxDome has simplified the entire tax-filing process for me. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stress-free way to manage their taxes.

Cons: There is definitely a learning curve. I'm still figuring out some of the features. If you have an accounting background, you'll probably find your way around pretty quick. The rest of us would benefit from some simple tutorials.

What I like best about TaxDome is its comprehensive suite of features tailored specifically for accounting professionals. From seamless onboarding pipelines to secure client messaging and email, e-signature capabilities, customizable engagement letters, and an extensive template library, TaxDome simplifies and streamlines various aspects of accounting practice. It effectively combines efficiency, security, and convenience, empowering firms to enhance client satisfaction, optimize processes, and elevate their practice to new heights.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? I wish that TaxDome had features to allow dynamic, automated engagement letters and services based on client questionnaire answers. For example, allowing services to be added based on Account Tags or something similar. Additionally, it would be extremely beneficial to have the ability to begin one pipeline from another. For instance, having an onboarding pipeline that ends with beginning a tax return preparation pipeline, or similar.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? Gathering information, getting signatures, onboarding, engagment letter signatures, etc

It has a fully customizable online organizer. It also has CRM, invoice, engagement, and e-sign. etc.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? Not perfect, I wish the client does not have to create an account and login in order to fill the orgaznier. Invoice system still needs to be worked on.

I've found TaxDome to be extremely useful and effective as a CRM, document manager, etc. and makes operating an Accounting Firm much easier as it combines many different softwares into one. I would say that it is hard to learn, it took me a month or two but once you learn how to use it correctly it is very useful. The customer service is also good and they respond quickly.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? I only give it an 8/10 as I think TaxDome should put more effort and resources to answering and working on customer suggestions. They have a forum called "Feature Requests" where customers using the software make suggestions on how to improve things or fix problems they encounter. There are a lot of great suggestions here so it doesn't make sense that TaxDome doesn't work faster on implementing them as it would make their software better and even more competitive (I have tried a few different CRM softwares and this has been my favorite so far). Also, some of them seem like very easy fixes but still sit in the feature request forum for over 2 years (e.g. allowing invoices to be sent in different currencies).

I been been hopping from software to software looking for something for my tax and accounting firm. I love this it offers a better way to communicate with clients and all the automations ive been looking for to free up more time. I dont have to spend hours preparing proposals for clients i can literally send them now while on the call with a few clicks. keeping me and team organized, clients can see where we are with their process so they dont have to call asking a billion times etc.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? nothing so far, i thnk its great, initially i wanted the appointment scheduler included so clients can easily schedule a paid consult without having to go outside the platform but its ok!

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? i can easily manage my clients their files and communications. send marketing emails in bulk. Work flows that we can all keep track of and the jobs feature so client work can be separated

Let me first say how incredibly impressed I am with the Taxdome system- I’ll tell ya, you guys are brilliant developers and in these last couple of weeks with the trial, every single time I get to a point where I think to myself, “yeah, there’s the thing that nobody can do for us”, I find a solution for that very thing in Taxdome. I’ll go so far as to say, it’s difficult to believe that you guys fully realize just what you’ve done here for the tax and accounting industry- developing something larger than yourselves, because this is art. Thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’ll be subscribing in the next couple of days- I can't wait to fully integrate Taxdome into my processes. P.S. The update in December 2023, allowing the admin to fill out the client’s organizer on behalf of the client, from the firm side, is a game changer. Just Wonderful. What do you dislike about TaxDome? Absolutely Nothing. This is a seriously brilliant system.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? Honestly, Taxdome is helping to solve so many pain points and issues for my firm that I won't try to cover it in this review. It's a total game changer folks- if you are even thinking about scaling your practice or taking it virtual, or even partially online- get this system. It's THE BEST out there - by a long shot. Believe me, I've tried them all.

TaxDome simplifies the communicaation between the firm and clients. Starting up and configuring TaxDome was pretty ease but took some time at first. I will continue to tweek it as I move through the automations. So far, customer support was great in answering my questions and finding the answers to the questions they couldn't immediately answer. The follow up from customer support has been amazing and the emails from them each day during the trial to set up you for success has been vital. There are so many features that I haven't even starting using yet but I can't wait to use this system everyday and really build my firm with TaxDome.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? I really wish TaxDome would make it so that I can send Uncategorized transactions to the clients through TaxDome from Quickbooks.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this software, as an end user, and will not consider working with a company for my tax prep who does NOT use this platform.

Pros: As someone who trusts the pros to prepare my business and personal taxes, I used to HATE collecting all the paperwork for tax season. It's still not my fave job, BUT the Tax Dome software and checklists actually make the process less stressful for me, by making it easier to track my progress and see what I still need to find. Anything that makes your clients happier/less stressed is a win for you as the accountant, AND will increase their timely compliance - and the fact that it makes it easier for my accounting firm to complete my taxes = less time spent for them = lower fees for me. Win-win-win!

Cons: Really, nothing. It is an elegant solution to bringing accounting and tax prep into the 21st century.

I'm looking forward to fully utilizing pipelines and automation, specifically for new client onboarding.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? I'm worried about tie tracking and limited invoicing capability. As a tax and accounting firm, we don't value or flat fee all clients so this is something extremely important for us to track, evaulate proficability, and ensure proper billing for.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? Tax Dome will roll out a more user friendly portal for our clients and increase communication capability, allow within one platform. I and my staff (firm size 9) are really excited to implement this.

I am exhausted by the need to get so many different applications to run my firm. Now I have 1 place with all the applications I need. TaxDome really does deliver on this promise. Client request forms, portal for shared documents, workflows and checklist, e-sign capabilities, proposals, and basic CRM. And unlike other SaaS companies, they have taken the time to provide valuable customer support and comprehesive video tutorials.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? While you can merge .pdfs in TaxDome, I like to create a single PDF with bookmarks to all the relevant client documents for a tax return. Perhaps a stronger pdf editor might be useful, especially if integrated with AI to automatically bookmark client documents!

The best value of the several CRM's for tax and accounting firms that I have looked at. I like project management system that it has and the fact that it has integration with the IRS for transcripts. It also has a wiki so that you can create your own knowledgebase within the CRM

What do you dislike about TaxDome? It can feel a little clunky when you first start. The tax transcript system is bare bones at the moment.

The customer support is incredible, and very knowledgable. The program itself is intuitive, and meets many of the needs for an accounting/tax practice. I also like the layout of the program, the screen is not too busy. You can tell the developers/team thought of small details that users would need. What really makes the integration process smooth is the help from customer support.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? At first the program is quite daunting. There are so many options, and I was not sure where to begin. I wish there was a monthly subscription option instead of paying the full annual price upfront.

Organizing my client list, and filtering by tags. Creating a workflow I can visualize for each client job. Managing monthly tasks for clients.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? The task management is lacking basic soritng ooptions and multiple viewing options.

It integrates many different apps like proposals and payment collections, work-management, team-management, and a great client portal app in 1. They also have great support, help videos etc.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? Would be helpful if they invented a way to follow up on actual bank transactions for the most common bookkeeping tasks. i.e. a mix of a google-sheet with an organizer, but in a simple format within tax dome and the app.

Having a complete suite of products in one, i.e. invoicing clients for accounting services provided to them, and giving them the option to pay very easily over their phones.
