TaxDome for income tax accountants

Easy to use by the firm clients No printing needed Audit trail for documents, organizers, signatures, tasks, etc. New features every year

What do you dislike about TaxDome? It is not possible to integrate 2 different taxes on the invoice (anything calculate with a %) Not connecting with Sage for accountants There is no way to have the client adress on invoices

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? All in one place for the office and for the clients (Before, we had different platforms to manage the practice. Now, it is all-in-one solution).

Pros: All in one solution like website, workflow, signatures, engagement letter and client audit trails or emails/work

Cons: The online signatures need work to make them seamless with workflow

Accounting friendly

Pros: Assistance in tax management and tax auditing has never been so easy since this product because it basically does all the slow stuff for you

Cons: It takes long to figure out how to properly use this app when you are a first timer

Pros: What I like the most is the ability to create an "Organizer" for clients to fill out with an "Audit Trail", which a lot of other form software either don't have or are very expensive. The client portal was easy for clients to sign up.

Cons: I think the Website and PDF Editor future offered has a little value to me, as I have other more robust for those two, such as Wix and Adobe. I prefer focused over jack of all traits, but I m always appreciative of what TaxDome has offered to us in the above-mentioned future.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? not very useful if have to do collections or audit work.

Pros: Excellent customer support. Perpetually developing and making great strides to improve the system.

Cons: We have some petitions on queue such as: 1) Deeper integration with QuickBooks (actual handshake instead of of one way street access) 2) Limited access to clients "creating a new organizer" as this could raise a conflict in the long run 3) Availability of two signatures on Contracts for married couples (there's only one signature field for Contracts at the moment) 4) Visibility of audit trail for: (a) Organizers, and (b) Pipelines 5) Availability of templates for reminders (e.g. 5 days overdue, 15/30/60/90 days overdue reminders) 6) On the horizon, having a scheduler embedded so clients can book appointments (but this may be a long shot)

Great Software for Tax payers to work with Auditors

Pros: 1. All (w2,1099,Firm prepared documents) in one software 2. Ease of management for tax documents year on year 3. Easy online payment options 3. Best in class communication module

Cons: Nothing in specific. Would love to have a mobile app for IOS if it's not already out there.

Everything I need in one place

I have only been using TaxDome for a couple of months but am already noticing a change in the workflow. The setup is a bit difficult, as with any new software, but I am anticipating great things to come. So far I am enjoying the software and would recommend to any tax professionals.

Pros: I love the organization that this software brings to my firm. I can create tasks, assign tasks, communicate with clients, record billing amounts and track receivables, and keep track of what tasks are outstanding and to which staff member tasks are assigned to. This software allows me to keep a live and easily accessible audit trail of work to be completed, work in progress, and completed work so I no longer have to search individual client files for notes. This is the hub for all firm tasks and is a program my staff and I will use daily.

Cons: Some of the functions are difficult to navigate and time consuming to implement. There was also a little confusion upon set up of what I needed to do, specifically regarding the task/pipeline area. I also found the pipeline/task/tag area difficult to find as it is located under the settings tab which I would typically attribute to account settings and not task setup.
