Taxdome seems like it will help streamline processes

1) The processes that would normally involve multiple people working to do the steps are now automated. 2) the locking of the return along with the invoice was very appealing to us. 3) SMS, chat, and email options to communicate with clients 4) lots of videos and explanations-was good but that can be overwhelming to new subscribers 5) ease of use after implementation

What do you dislike about TaxDome? 1) The availability to speak with customer support at the time when you want them is missing. They do have chat options and email and scheduling 1 on 1 sessions. but most of us who work need to speak with a person when we have a problem right away. 2) Also, the setup of pipelines is overwhelming for us. I felt like I understood the steps but creating them was challenging and I believe that the system should come with these already done. 3) We need more time to set up clients and I believe they should help more with that. we are tax preparers/accountants, not software programmers or engineers. 4) I would have loved that i was assigned an account rep who walked us through the setup and operation of the program. 5) Too many videos are overwhelming, too many pipelines in the library and not being able to search for what you want in a search box. 6) also should be able to only show items in the library under your language option not all different languages. 7) the additional fees for everything-like scheduler, payment option, sms messaging, 8) the subscription payment options- i should not have to pay for 3years right at the time of subscribing if i want the discount. if im subscribing for 3years that means im planning on being with Taxdome for 3years but should only pay for a year at a time. 9)Then there was no refund of fees. thats a no on 3yrs. anything could happen and they already got 3yra payment and you not in business anymore. 10) Difficult to implement

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? Solving the burden of overworking especially for small businesses. The automated services are very helpful

I like the interface the most. It was pretty easy to use and navigat. I also like how in the client section, I can add their information such as SSN so I can easily apply it to forms in the future and not have to store it in a document.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? I wish that the pipeline system was a little bit easier to understand. It was confusing at first but I believe I understand. The tutorials were helpful. Also wish that there was a SMS feature to text clients. Last but not least, I wish there was an easier way to get tax returns into the systme.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? The problem that I had was having an all in 1 system where I can have clients register, collect their information and have it on file without asking through text or email and inputting it myself. Taxdome is solving my issue with that

So many features all in one place, for one price. We ended several subscriptions by consolidating them when we made the decision to switch over. Made switching over a decision we could all get behind. Customer support is very easy to talk to and helpful. So far there is a huge amount of things available to make this software amazing, it's really overwhelming. But despite that they have laid out a huge roadmap to guide you along the way, along with unlimited support.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? It's still early on, but from what I've seen so far I wish the IRS Transcript feature had more functionality, like bulk requests, or automated scheduling of specific transcripts. For example I would schedule on April 1st or whatever date, that the account transcripts of individuals be pulled to not process it manually. The chat feature as it is now is likely more of a headache than useful at least for us, but once SMS gets added that will make it an amazing feature to have in that format. My biggest issue right now is that it is accessible only through a website browser. I wish there was a desktop app, not just for uploading, but for accessing the application as well. I realize having it on a website is great and makes it accessible from any computer, but at work specifically if the internet ever drops, I want to have access to my platform, even if I can't use it to send things necessarily at that time.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? Consolidation of task planning instead of Excel sheets. CRM, E-signature, Client Exchange. All of these basically modernize our firm in an amazing way and give us the ability to build better and more valuable relationships with our customers.

TaxDome is great we love the client portal feature along with the clients being able to sign things online without having to exit the client portal and sending the documents through another service. We also love that we can bill our clients using TaxDome.

Pros: It is user friendly and everything we need is all in one.

Cons: We are excited to try out the SMS feature that is in the works.

There is a bit of a learning curve, but once you set it up, everthing works great.

Pros: The workflow is what every tax preparer needs to save time.

Cons: It still needs to be able to send SMS or Text from the program.

I really didn't have much time with the trial and purchased because I know this will be good for my business ultimately!

Pros: I liked that this software has pretty much everything I could imagine a software having, I would prefer to learn one software really well than to learn 10 different softwares. I like that it was built by accountants for accountants and bookkeepers.

Cons: I wish it had SMS messaging but apparently that is in the works. Also, it is a LOT of information to get started. I know it has everything I need though so I'm sticking with it!!

I turned to TaxDome as I knew we needed more automation and team communication.

Pros: We like the fact that everything is in one place. Client portal, CRM, email, secure messaging, etc.

Also glad to have 2FA not just to email or SMS, but using an authenticator application

Cons: I have not found anything yet; however I am just learning :)
