What do you dislike about TaxDome? On the higher end cost wise. Wish they had more engagement letter templates.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? Some clients are hesitant transferring documents over the internet or not sure how to scan. Being able to use the mobile app to take pictures really helps.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? I wish I could mark invoices as paid, but not a big deal given there are so many benefits in using the system.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? TaxDome solves the problem of unyfying everything to one place AND the easyness level is great.

I've found TaxDome to be extremely useful and effective as a CRM, document manager, etc. and makes operating an Accounting Firm much easier as it combines many different softwares into one. I would say that it is hard to learn, it took me a month or two but once you learn how to use it correctly it is very useful. The customer service is also good and they respond quickly.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? I only give it an 8/10 as I think TaxDome should put more effort and resources to answering and working on customer suggestions. They have a forum called "Feature Requests" where customers using the software make suggestions on how to improve things or fix problems they encounter. There are a lot of great suggestions here so it doesn't make sense that TaxDome doesn't work faster on implementing them as it would make their software better and even more competitive (I have tried a few different CRM softwares and this has been my favorite so far). Also, some of them seem like very easy fixes but still sit in the feature request forum for over 2 years (e.g. allowing invoices to be sent in different currencies).

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? Handling CRM, document management, signatures, etc. It is very useful for centralizing all the different technologies a tax preparer has to deal with.

I began using TaxDome 14 days ago and my experience has been phenomenal! I was so impressed with the organizers and the automations! The organizers contained all of the questions that need to be asked to tax clients, whether an individual or a business client. I loved most that we can set conditions on questions so clients don't have to answer questions that don't correlate to their circumstance. The automations were amazing as well!! Not having to manually send clients proposals and invoices makes the onboarding process so much more efficient. No to mention, the automations will keep clients updated about the status of their return at all stages. The engagement letters are also superb! They contain all of the necessary verbiage to outline what services clients are receiving and not receiving. They also contain key language that protects me as a business owner by clearing outlining the terms of the service. Again, as a new user of TaxDome I am very impressed and there's so many other features I haven't explored yet!

What do you dislike about TaxDome? There is nothing that I dislike about TaxDome. It's a really great product!

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? TaxDome is solving a few problems for me. TaxDome is removing so much of the manual process from my workflow. No longer do I have to search on external sites for proposals and contract agreements. I can now invoice my clients and collect payment all in one place. The automations are absolutely amazing! The ability to auto send engagement letters, proposals, invoices, reminders, status updates, and so much more is just fantastic!

What do you dislike about TaxDome? It is not possible to integrate 2 different taxes on the invoice (anything calculate with a %) Not connecting with Sage for accountants There is no way to have the client adress on invoices

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? All in one place for the office and for the clients (Before, we had different platforms to manage the practice. Now, it is all-in-one solution).

What do you dislike about TaxDome? TaxDome only accepts credit cards. My clients pay by cash, check, and venmo. I'd love to lock invoices and have them pay by ACH TaxDome doesn't integrate with outlook

The plethora of resources that TaxDome provides makes it extremely easy to use all of the tools on the platform. Implementation is a breeze after watching the corresponding videos. Customer Support has been exceptional, even during the trial period. Our firm uses TaxDome on a daily basis to interact with our clients, share documents, send proposals/engagement letters and invoices. The number of features is impressive! Integrating TaxDome was easier than I expected, thanks to their fantastic integrating team!

What do you dislike about TaxDome? I have found very few "downsides" to using tax dome. The features that I have found do not align with our firm's needs, we simply don't use them. TaxDome has made it possible to customize most features to match the firm's needs.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? TaxDome is allowing us to streamline our processes, communication and engagements.

Great Solution and Affordable

Overall, TaxDome does just about everything I need to run my little business (other than bookkeeping). I look forward to figuring out how to use the functions that elude me, currently. In the meantime, being able to exchange documents, receive payment for invoices, and get client signatures remotely in one place is convenient.

Pros: • Client and firm document storage and sharing. • Invoicing options that include one-time and recurring. - Client can pay invoice by following an email link - Integrated payment processing, including ACH for direct bank draw

Cons: • Very confusing to setup workflow, pipelines, tasks, and jobs • Some features are not linked in places where it would make sense - You cannot add an external/cash payment to invoice by viewing the invoice. The link to do that is located somewhere else • Did I mention that setting up pipelines and workflows, job tracking, tasks etc is very difficult and counter intuitive?

What I love best about TaxDome is that it is the ONLY product that I need to collect documents, keep track of assignments, communicate with clients, get e-signatures on documents and also bill for services! A fully comprehensive platform is exactly what I needed, and THIS IS IT! It eliminates me having my clients log in to several different tools to work with me remotely! I love this product!

What do you dislike about TaxDome? It offers a lot, and I just need to take the time to learn it so that I am receiving the full value of what it provides.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? It is primarily solving the problem of communicating and sharing documents in real time. It is also solving the problem of me having a full case file on a client with notes, invoices, documents, communication and files all in one secure place.

Tax Dome has replaced many of our office management processes and made us more efficient in several specific areas. The Workflow pipeline alone makes it more efficient determining where a file is in the process of completion than our old system saving our office 8 hours labor per week at the height of tax season (10 weeks of tax season = 80 hours saved). Our clients that were initially hesitant to view or sign online not only have made the change because they feel more secure through the Tax Dome portal but have found it much easier than they anticipated. Clients who are experienced online users say that "our online document" system (upload, view and sign) is much easier than most that they deal with on a regular basis. We have saved hundreds of dollars in postage and manpower tracking documents through the mail because of signing online. The automatic notifications is a brilliant feature! These automatic notifications that have been set up as jobs move through each step have given our clients a feeling of better communication. Most of the details about the process of completing their documents are answered through automatic notifications. This allows for conversations with our clients to be more efficient and more impactful in planning their future. Because our invoices can be paid directly through Tax Dome, many clients prefer paying directly on Tax dome. We have found a significant decrease in unpaid invoices and significantly less time taking credit card numbers over the phone. THE BEST THING about TaxDome is that they have videos showing you how to do everything. Instead of sitting with a new employee explaining how to enter their time, just send them a link to the 1 minute video and the new employee can watch it as many times as they need to. I'm a huge fan. I could keep going but these are my favorite features.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? If I could do it over again, I would have done the "expert" level training before entering our first season with Tax Dome. The time training on the front end would have been an investment that would have exponential return for everyone in the organization. Converting to Tax Dome is a decision that keeps proving itself over and over.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? TaxDome has made our office more efficient in workflow, communication with clients and amongst team members, invoicing, document management and physical space to store documents.

Excellent software for firm management

TaxDome is excellent for centralizing management of our firm operations. It has the client management, document storage, workflows, and billing all built in, plus they continue to release useful improvements and new features like pulling IRS transcripts directly within the software. The web interface is simple to use but also functional and available to access from anywhere which is great as our team transitions to more remote work. Support is quick to respond and seem to be fairly knowledgeable about using the software.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? Implementation can be tricky as a new user and time intensive. There is a lot of flexibility to set up TaxDome in a way that works for your firm but it can be overwhelming. TaxDome's templates are good but overall documentation about the various features available and how to get started could be expanded.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? The biggest benefit we have had from implementing TaxDome is client management. Being able to keep client information, notes, documents, invoices, and payments all in one spot has been a huge timesaver for our firm. Also, we are still working on our workflows but once we get them set up correctly this will be a big help in managing our team as we start to have more remote employees.

I needed a way to quickly and easily get a contract out to a client along with an invoice. TaxDome allowed me to implement valuable features very easily with very little ramp up time. It integrates smoothly with other tools I use and I've found that I use it everyday. It has made my life so much easier as a business owner.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? I haven't found anything to dislike about TaxDome yet, but I'm trying.

Tax Dome has created so many efficiencies for my firm! Tax Dome has cut down my mundane, administrative work by over two weeks a year! Also, Tax Dome is extremely helpful with onboarding and the onboarding specialists are so helpful and truly go above and beyond!

What do you dislike about TaxDome? The only downside in my opinion thus far is that I cannot add a processing/surcharge fee if my clients select credit card as an option for payments. It would be great if we had the opportunity when creating invoices to add a surcharge when clients pay with a credit card.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? Time management - Tax Dome has created efficiencies that have cut down so much of my admin time. Also, Tax Dome is a one-stop shop for storing client documents, engagement letters, organizers, etc. I truly feel this software has made my firm so much more professional.

Client security for document uploads

Pros: The Client Management and Invoicing were the most critical features we enjoyed

Cons: Sometimes when we attach invoices and lock it with documents and send out reminders, the reminders wouldn't go through and I would have to reselect it to get the reminder sent out.

We have been using Automations, the folder organization within the portal, locking in the tax file until the client pays, the fact that we can send invoices, signature documents and able to upload documents.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? Nothing yet, we just started using it 2 weeks ago

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? Taxdome will save us a lot of time; the fact that it has so many capabilities, really puts us over the edge with the competition. We love the automation of the bookkeeping and payroll workflows as well.

Pros: my job requires myself to process and keep track of invoices. TaxDome is a quick and easy way to accept credit cards payments. Customers also love the notifications that invoices and ready to be paid. The connection to Quickbooks is very helpful!

Cons: A little pricey, but your paying for a quality software
