Pros: Easy client onboarding, organizers. payments and pipelines. Hardly any dislike from clients. Zdrive.

Great All-in-One Tax Management Tool
Overall, my experience has been positive. It's a comprehensive tool that has streamlined my workflow and made managing my practice more efficient.
Pros: TaxDome is very user-friendly and combines everything I need for managing my tax practice. It has made organizing documents, communicating with clients, and tracking deadlines much easier. The automated reminders are especially helpful to ensure I don't miss any deadlines.
Cons: There is a bit of a learning curve at first, especially if you're not familiar with such software. I also wish there were more notifications for updates on client organizers.
Wonderful automation and top-notch customer service
The customer service is phenomenal. They will work with you one-on-one as needed to help with any issues.
Pros: The workflow automation has made our monthly tasks so much more efficient! The smart tax organizers and ability to request KBA signatures made tax season much easier.
Cons: Took a minute to get used to the lingo (jobs vs pipelines, etc).
An Essential Tool for Efficient Tax Practice
Pros: I truly appreciate the automated reminders that prompt clients to complete their documents or organizers. The organizers are exceptionally helpful when onboarding new clients, and I find it incredibly valuable to have a quick overview of pending to-do items at a glance.
Cons: The one feature I find lacking is the capability to synchronize with Google Calendar.
Just completed trial period and signed up
Expectation is that we will benefit from the efficiencies that Tax Dome has over our prior Tech Stack of ProConnect, Karbon, SmartVault, QBO. TaxDome will eliminate Karbon (too difficult to use) and SmartVault (too expensive).
Pros: Client communications; All client details in one software; ability to send out targeted emails to client groups for organizers/engagement letters. TaxDome is very responsive to suggestions for improvements or problems.
Cons: Haven't yet completed implementation. Some concerns with transferring documents from prior DMS.

A vital tool in growing my business
Taxdome has allowed me to increase my client capacity while also making sure I am giving a good client experience. I recommend it to many of my accounting colleagues and look forward to working with it as they continually upgrade and add tools.
Pros: I love that I can use TaxDome to onboard my clients for bookkeeping and taxes. The organizers are incredibly helpful and versatile in ensuring I have all the information I need. I also really enjoy being able to set up my workflow so that I can see a client's status throughout the month. I've added automation within my workflow (ie send an email reminder, let clients know their reports are ready, etc) and those are huge time savers.
Cons: I would like to see a better proposal system that integrates with pricing (ie they can build their own proposal). I also would like to have the option to pay monthly versus yearly.
This will revolutionize my firm
There is a lot of set-up involved, and it can be daunting. However, I am eager for the day when I everything is set up and fine tuned to streamline my whole business.
Pros: I like the automation capabilities, and the fact that I can put a deliverable behind a paywall. Also, embedded organizers, engagements letters, and signatures...game changer. All at a reasonable price!
Cons: I wish I could have enable progress billing on an account. I require a 60% deposit from my clients to begin work, so it would nice if I can automate the 1st bill (60% of the total), then the 2nd bill (Remaining 40%).
Guiding clients to upload needed documents in the right places before staff start working
We are cutting the time we spend on obtaining client documents and signatures significantly.
Pros: The flexibility of the portal is outstanding compared to other solutions we reviewed. Especailly for our tax resolution clients which make up over 89% of our client base. When we have a client that has not filed taxes in multiple prior years TaxDome makes requesting, obtaining and organizing this data automatic through the use of customized organizers with document requests embedded that link to the specific folder we need that document loaded to. Priceless!! Cuts that time we are paying team members to chase clients for data down by more than half!
Cons: I do wish that for the price Tax Dome was able to not only download tax transcripts but also provide the analysis and reporting that Tax Help Software provides. If they could do that we would be over the moon!
Tax Dome for our Advisory and Tax Firm
Our overall experience is great. The support team is especially helpful in training us and helping us to set up our pipelines, workflows, organizers, etc.
Pros: The workflow and pipelines features are going to help us to be much more efficient. We are excited to automate so many of the processes we were accomplishing manually. We also love the client portal: everything the client needs to be aware of is on the portal's homepage for them to see right away.
Cons: TaxDome is complex, so there is a bit of a learning curve.

Great for Client Communication for Task Management
We loved TaxDome so much that we switched from Karbon Workflow after 5 years of use because of the client portal and its automation with engagements, tax organizers, client requests, and E-signatures.
Pros: We needed to streamline our client comunnication, and TaxDome's client portal does that. TaxDome has great automation as well that removes admin tasks
Cons: Email syncing and management. With our current project management system, we were able o sync up our inboxes and treat our inbox like a ticket system. TaxDome does not sync up your entire inbox so you need to manage two inboxes.
Tax Dome Review
My overall experience with TaxDome has been positive. TaxDome solves a lot of communication and organization obstacles that our firm experiences on a daily basis.
Pros: The ability to organize client's accounting and tax data within client portals. Integration with other applications. Automated Pipelines.
Cons: Using the client organizers was somewhat difficult and not as user friendly as I would like.
Works right out of the gate
really good experience so far. Automating recurring tasks, due dates, automated forms will be huge for my business.
Pros: The client portal is so easy! it's saving my life helping me be so much more organized. I used smartvault before and this is way more bang for the buck.
Cons: The arrangement of accounts versus contacts is not my favorite but it's getting the job done. I am very excited about getting all my projects set up on automated pipelines although the learning curve has been steep for me. I was able to migrate, get organizers set up and send the portal link to all clients in one day. Editing templates and figuring out the workflow is taking me a lot longer but I believe the set up will be worth it's weight in gold in 2-3 months! Pricing had a little bait and switch on the annual contract agreement. Would be nice if the "$50 monthly" price didn't seem like a trick due to the 3 year advance contract requirement.
Loving it
The customer support is amazing. Thats one big plus.
Pros: I wish I had signed up earlier for this. Everything stays organized in a single place, no more scanning documents. Emails, messages, KBA, organizers - all under one roof.
Cons: There is a serious learning curve to this. I can find my way around things but it took me quite a bit to understand the flow and process of things. All in all around 15 hours of investment to get everything sorted.
Changing Everything for Us During Tax Season
Pros: The smart tax organizers ensure our clients provide only the information we need, saving both us and our clients valuable time).
Cons: The monthly practice management for bookkeeping clients takes some getting used to and tweaking if you have clients with many different needs
Great Portal & All-Around Tax Practice Management Solutions
The overall TaxDome experience is excellent and I believe it impresses clients.
Pros: I especially like the client portal because it is intuitive and provides a lot of uses for our clients. Signing engagement letters, completing tax organizers, and uploading documents are crucial to have in one account.
Cons: The software is a bit overwhelming because it is so robust, but there are a lot of tools available to assist the user.

Cons: Z drive can run a bit slow. Also, I would add a check box for E filed "Accepted or Rejected" to generate an automatic email to the client.
Great for tax and bookkeeping practice
It took me about 20 hours to get my pipelines, email and messaging templates, organizers, and contracts all set up in Tax Dome. It sounds like a lot of time, but when you take into consideration it's basically the whole SOP for an accounting firm, that timeframe is extremely fast.
Pros: The client portal is simple to use, setup takes a while but is very thorough.
Cons: Some automation features are hard to implement
