What do you dislike about TaxDome? The amount of customization possible can be daunting, but TaxDome Academy provides comprehensive training articles and videos to teach users.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? It allows me to manage proposals/engagement letters, client payments, workflows, and document storage/sharing all in one place.

Onboarding team is just amazing! They make all these numerous functionalietes so easy to adopt and start working with very quickly. The best thing about TaxDome is the time savings generated by having the entire process from documentation gathering through approval to e-signatures (which are by the way unlimited!!) in one single platform! Absolutely loving TaxDome and would highly recommed it to anyone considering it for their practice/firm.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? I don't like invoicing & payments module. I would be helpful if some additional payment methods are allowed (e.g. Zelle transfers)

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? Workflow automation, documents gatheirng automation, time savings with e-signatures to name a few!

At the moment, the billing and invoicing feature is what I like best. Integrated processing solutions include ACH for bank draft (from checking or savings, without a debit card). Being able to lock client documents with an invoice is also convenient and helps with collection.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? The reason I purchased TaxDome is for the Pipeline and task managment features, which I haven't been able to successfully implement. I have made mutliple attempts and have spent hours trying to learn. Just when I think I have it figured out. . . At any rate, I look forward to getting those features figured out and implemented. I know it will increase my productivity and decrease errors and inconsistencies.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? Billing and payment collection; TaxDome has integrated invoice and billing solutions that are easy to use and competitive with other vendors. E-Signatures; Unlimited remote signature collection is key to operating a remote business Document delivery; Everyone loses stuff. When a client calls because the bank needs a copy of their tax returns or accounting documents, I send them a link to the client portal where they can download anything they need.

What I love best about TaxDome is that it is the ONLY product that I need to collect documents, keep track of assignments, communicate with clients, get e-signatures on documents and also bill for services! A fully comprehensive platform is exactly what I needed, and THIS IS IT! It eliminates me having my clients log in to several different tools to work with me remotely! I love this product!

What do you dislike about TaxDome? It offers a lot, and I just need to take the time to learn it so that I am receiving the full value of what it provides.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? It is primarily solving the problem of communicating and sharing documents in real time. It is also solving the problem of me having a full case file on a client with notes, invoices, documents, communication and files all in one secure place.

One place for everything, client demographics, client data, secure messaging, document storage, signatures, tax returns, EVERYTHING. Creating a Pipeline forces YOU to understand your office processes and can help you streamline and simplify them. E-signatures are simple and inexpensive Client comunication is automated to match the tax step process, this greatly reduces the number of emails/texts/phone calls asking "WHERE IS MY RETURN?" Secure storage of past returns eliminates sending copies to clients who lose them! TaxDome personnel are honest and responsive!

What do you dislike about TaxDome? Still looking for a downside, been using it for 3 years, can't find one!

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? Automating comunication with clients Providing clients with return copies Streamlining and improving my tax practice - doing more work in less time.

Pros: We researched a number of practice management packages but ultimately decided to go with TaxDome due to the number of features it contains, and all its functionality is available to the Pro subscription with unlimited clients, unlike others that increase pricing for certain functionality or when you exceed a certain number of clients. We have not fully implemented yet, so our opinions are based on our experience so far and the research we have done, but we like the portal functionality, the fact that clients can use their mobile devices to upload documents to or view the portal, the integrated e-signatures, and the ability to lock drafts until payment is received.

Cons: During our research, the most-often cited con with TaxDome was the complexity in implementing the system. I would have to agree with this. I think part of the complexity is because of the extreme flexibility and customability of the program. There are numerous videos and help topics available, far more than the other programs we researched. We wish that some of the best practices in setting up things like accounts and contacts were more available, as when you are setting up the program you don't always understand the downstream implications until you get to that part. I think once we work through the heavy lifting of setting up and customizing the program to meet our needs, it will be invaluable to improving the efficiency and technology our firm employs, especially with respect to automation.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? I would love to have the option to edit Excel documents without downloading. To be able to edit it right on TaxDome (like Google Sheets)

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? The problem of having to use multiple programs or apps to complete my tasks.

I like that Tax Dome is an all-in-one solution. By signing up for TD, I have been able to instantly cancel two other subscriptions, and I think I'll be able to cancel another 1-2 soon.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? Tax Dome has a pipeline format that you have to fit your business into. I wish the platform were more customizable to the unique needs and situations of my business.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? E-signatures. Client portal. Accounts receivable. The benefit is having a state-of-the-art tax portal built with accountants in mind. There are other portals, but none with this many features.

Lots of features without huge price tag. Can get value just by using 3-4 features then add others over time.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? Very American website and language. Was able to talk to Australian based support to assist with implementation.

Pros: The client portal, unlimited e-signatures, and job/task management.

Cons: Response time can be slow when pulling up a list of anything... jobs, clients, etc. This is also likely an internet connection/speed issue so not entirely Tax Dome's issue.

We loved TaxDome so much that we switched from Karbon Workflow after 5 years of use because of the client portal and its automation with engagements, tax organizers, client requests, and E-signatures.

Pros: We needed to streamline our client comunnication, and TaxDome's client portal does that. TaxDome has great automation as well that removes admin tasks

Cons: Email syncing and management. With our current project management system, we were able o sync up our inboxes and treat our inbox like a ticket system. TaxDome does not sync up your entire inbox so you need to manage two inboxes.

TaxDome provides a very client-friendly portal to securely exchange documents. So far, all my clients agreed that the process was very easy and self-explanatory. They can take a picture on the phone and upload them to the portal within minutes. E-signatures provide flexibility and save time as well

What do you dislike about TaxDome? Some of the automation features are not easily adjustable, but it might be that I just started and did not have time to go through all the training videos to figure out how to personalize them.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? Security and compliance with recent IRS regulations, storage of all client documents in one place, ability to provide an e-signature option for documents. Since getting the product during busy season, I have tested all the functionality but planning on it after April.

Great product, and seems to be constantly improving.

Pros: The main features that I'm excited about are the client portals, integrations with CPACharge, and e-signatures.

Cons: There was a small learning curve of the terminology used on the software, but the short videos and 1-on-1 are great!

Pros: Really like the option for e-signatures and also really like that you can set reminders.

Cons: I haven't yet figured out how to use the Z drive--it's on my computer but I can't get e-signatures that way.

What do you dislike about TaxDome? The program does integrate with email. However, we would like integration with Microsoft Teams and messaging and other Microsoft 365 programs. Recommendations to others considering TaxDome: We use TaxDome in conjunction with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams.

What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you? Modern client portal that is easy to use, allows client E-Signature, invoice and payments, engagement letter, document view, tax organizers and client communication.

Pros: I like the ease of use and functionality. It is so worth the cost for small firms. I love the signature functions, and it saves me a lot of administrative time.

Cons: A little bit of a learning curve for some aspects of the software.
