Great communities don’t happen by accident — they’re led with purpose, passion, and vision. That’s why TaxDome is proud to celebrate our Community Relations Manager, Edwin González, who was just named the B2B Community Professional winner at the 2025 CMX Community Industry Awards.

Under Edwin’s leadership, the TaxDome Community has become a vibrant space for thousands of accounting professionals to collaborate, learn and help each other grow. And, thanks to Edwin and our all-star user group, the TaxDome Community was named a top-three finalist for Best New Community.

The CMX Community Industry Awards, now in their sixth year, are a premier annual recognition for professionals and organizations leading the way in community building. 

The Best New Community award celebrates communities launched within the past year that have demonstrated rapid growth, member engagement, and fast success — meaning the TaxDome Community is among the best of the best.  

The B2B Community Professional award celebrates individuals building a thriving B2B community that fosters engagement, customer advocacy, and business impact — and, if you know Edwin, you know he stands out in these areas.

Winners are selected through public voting and anonymized expert judging, combining peer recognition with clear, measurable impact. 

Built with purpose and growing with you

The TaxDome Community was created with a clear vision: to give tax, bookkeeping, and accounting professionals a space to connect with one another, share feedback on what they need from TaxDome, and discover new ways to improve their firm’s practice and grow together. We knew that while our platform empowers firms to scale fast and offer a better client experience, a thriving peer network was necessary to give a meaningful voice to the professionals that rely on TaxDome every day. 

That vision caught on quickly. In just two weeks, the community welcomed over 1,000 members. Today, that number is 3,000+ members strong, and the active engagement tells the story here:

These numbers reflect more than just growth. They represent how deeply firms are engaging with one another, sharing insights, and influencing how TaxDome evolves. From day one, this community was built with purpose. And, under Edwin’s steadfast leadership, that purpose is being fulfilled.

When the idea of launching a community first took shape at TaxDome, it wasn’t just about creating a new space to talk — it was about building a place where professionals could solve real problems together, influence TaxDome’s direction, and feel genuinely connected to the work they do.

For many firms and individuals, the impact of that connection has been both personal and professional. Searching the discussions within the TaxDome Community, it doesn’t take long to find one of many ecstatic posts from users enjoying the space. “I was happy to see this community established here. This is my second year using TaxDome, and it has been a blessing for me.” 

That’s what makes the TaxDome Community so special: the people in it, the trust they’ve built, and the way they’ve made it their own. In a time when technology is transforming industries all around the world, the TaxDome Community provides the human connection we all need.

Or, as Edwin tells it, “I think the community work matters more than ever today because with the arrival of AI and the new technology we’re seeing nowadays, people are craving more connection and trust. I think the value that unique communities bring to companies is not achievable in any other way than to have a place for deep and meaningful connections.”

The TaxDome Community turns action into innovation. Members actively engage in:

• A dedicated Beta Testing space (migrated from Slack) with strong feedback loops and high participation
• A Community Lounge where members can share challenges, wins, and ideas

Every voice has a role — and every insight helps shape what’s next for TaxDome. In fact, it’s now fully integrated into how we operate at TaxDome, with team members across each department proactively involved.
