How we kept investing in our team, and earned a second win doing it
A year ago, this same award told us we were building something worth staying for. This year, the team’s decisions, from holding their shares to how they show up, said it again.
That’s the recognition this award carries, and this year TaxDome earned it for the second time: the Silver Stevie Award for Employer of the Year, Business & Professional Services, at the 11th annual Stevie Awards for Great Employers.
About the Stevie Awards, and why a repeat win matters
The Stevie Awards are among the most established recognitions in global business, spanning every industry and often called the business world’s answer to the Oscars.
In the Employer of the Year categories, winners aren’t decided by judges alone. Every entry is scored by at least five qualified judges, and placements come from a blend of those ratings, across 160+ judges worldwide, and more than 178,000 public votes.
Earning that once means the workplace holds up to outside scrutiny. Earning it two years running means the first year wasn’t a one-off.
The culture behind the recognition

Five values, shaped by the team
This year, we refreshed the values we live by every day, shaped directly by our team’s input:
- Customer Impact First
- Ownership
- Pragmatic Thinking
- Innovation Mindset
- Collaboration
These five pillars now anchor how we hire, develop, and recognize people, across 40+ countries and every time zone.
Remote-first, but not distant
Even as a remote-first company, we bring people together in person. This year we ran a dedicated Managers Development Program offsite, bringing leaders together from around the world, with 92% CSAT from attendees.
Holiday dinners in 13 cities worldwide also gave distributed teammates a reason to meet in person and celebrate the year together.
That connection shows up in the work: teamwork is the highest-rated dimension across our global team, at 90%.
Putting AI to work, together
We’re investing in how our team actually works with AI. Every teammember has a company-funded AI assistant license, and AI Champions are recognized by leadership at monthly all-hands.
The result: 94% of our team uses AI regularly, and 82% at an advanced, consistent level.
The team behind the work
The values, the offsites, the equity, the recognition, they add up to a team that does its best work together. And that work matters: supporting 45,000+ tax, bookkeeping, and full-service accounting professionals, and the 6M+ clients who rely on them.
Looking after each other and doing work that reaches this many firms go hand in hand. That’s what this recognition really rewards, and we’re grateful for it.
If that sounds like a team you’d want to build with, we’re hiring. See our open positions.
