TaxDome webinars and online events: terms of use

Welcome to TaxDome’s webinars and online events! These terms of use (“Terms”) outline the relationship between TaxDome, the provider of practice management software offering webinars and online events, and you, the client (“Participant”). 

By accessing or using TaxDome webinars and online events, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Before participating, please carefully review the following terms of use, as they outline important information regarding intellectual property, user conduct, data privacy, and more.

1. Intellectual property rights

All content presented during TaxDome webinars and online events, including but not limited to presentations, materials, and recordings (hereafter collectively referred to as “Content”), is the exclusive intellectual property of TaxDome, LLC, as www.taxdome.com (collectively, “TaxDome”, “we”, “us” and “our”). TaxDome retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Content. Participants are not granted any transfer of ownership or intellectual property rights.

2. Restrictions on use

Participants acknowledge that they do not acquire any ownership rights or licenses to the webinar content and materials, except as expressly granted in these Terms. Participants are granted a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access, view, and interact with the Content for their internal business purposes.

Participants are expressly prohibited from:

  • Reproducing, copying, or duplicating any part of the Content, except for the limited purpose of internal business use
  • Distributing, sharing, or making available any Content to third parties, except for the limited purpose of internal business use
  • Modifying, adapting, or creating derivative works from the Content, except for the limited purpose of internal business use

Any such actions must not compromise the integrity or accuracy of the original materials.

3. User Conduct

Participants agree to engage in respectful and courteous communication with hosts, presenters, and fellow participants. Participants agree not to engage in any activities that may disrupt webinars or online events, including but not limited to harassment, unauthorized recording, or distribution of content.

Participants shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations and shall not use TaxDome webinars and online events for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

4. Data privacy

Participant data collected during webinars and events will be handled in accordance with TaxDome’s privacy policy. By participating, you consent to the collection, processing, and storage of your data for purposes outlined in the privacy policy.

TaxDome will use the information you provide on this form to be in touch with you and to provide updates and marketing. We will not share or sell your personal information. You can unsubscribe anytime by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of our emails, or by replying to our emails and asking to be unsubscribed. 5. Termination of access

TaxDome reserves the right to terminate a Participant’s access to webinars and online events for violations of these Terms or for any other reason deemed appropriate, including:

  • Engagement in activities that disrupt the event or compromise its integrity
  • Failure to comply with technical requirements affecting the overall event experience

Termination of access may result in the loss of access to all webinar content and materials. Serious breaches may result in legal action to protect the rights and interests of TaxDome.

6. Updates to Terms

TaxDome reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes through the TaxDome platform. Participants are responsible for reviewing and accepting updated terms before participating in future webinars and online events.

7. Limitation of liability

TaxDome makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the Content. Participants participate at their own risk, and TaxDome shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or connected with the events.

8. Technical requirements

Participants are responsible for ensuring they meet the technical requirements specified by TaxDome in confirmation emails.
