How can I access the audit trail?

You can access the audit trail for the following:

  • Documents: click the three dots to the far right of the document’s name, then click Audit trail; or open the document, click the three dots to the far right in the viewer, and click Audit trail.
  • Proposals & engagement letters: go to Proposals & ELs in the client’s profile, click on the three-dots icon to the far right of the document’s name, or inside the document itself, then click Audit trail.
  • Tasks: go to the Chats page of the Communication tab in the client’s profile, select the thread, click on the three-dots icon at the top right, then click Task audit trail.
  • Organizers: go to Organizers in the client account profile, click on the three-dots icon to the far right of the organizer’s name, or inside the organizer itself, then click Audit trail.
  • Firm Balance: go to Settings, select the Firm Balance tab, then click the Audit trail on the far right.

What information can I see in the audit trail?

The audit trail provides a date- and time-stamped record of the history and details of all interactions with documents, organizers, tasks, engagement letters and more. In particular, the user’s name and email, client and server times, the changes that were made, the user’s IP address and more.
