I love it I feel like it’s my tax business. It gives me more time to do other things and back and things and as we all know, time is money.

Pros: What I like most about Tax is the CRM system and also the document management enable to give and store clients documents or they’re able to get instant access to their things without asking me for consistently

Cons: what I like least about Tax it’s not just user-friendly. You have to go to some trainings to figure out the automation or pay someone to do it so you’re not just gonna jump in and have it already set up as soon as you pay the cost so it’s an additional fee to have someone out automated but luckily, I found Carmen from Elite notary to for an affordable price

Pros: As someone who handles their own taxes, TaxDome has been an absolute lifesaver. Having everything organized in one place makes the whole process so much smoother. I can easily upload all my documents, communicate securely with my tax preparer, and track the progress of my returns. The automated reminders ensure I never miss a deadline. TaxDome has simplified the entire tax-filing process for me. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stress-free way to manage their taxes.

Cons: There is definitely a learning curve. I'm still figuring out some of the features. If you have an accounting background, you'll probably find your way around pretty quick. The rest of us would benefit from some simple tutorials.

Overall, TaxDome does just about everything I need to run my little business (other than bookkeeping). I look forward to figuring out how to use the functions that elude me, currently. In the meantime, being able to exchange documents, receive payment for invoices, and get client signatures remotely in one place is convenient.

Pros: • Client and firm document storage and sharing. • Invoicing options that include one-time and recurring. - Client can pay invoice by following an email link - Integrated payment processing, including ACH for direct bank draw

Cons: • Very confusing to setup workflow, pipelines, tasks, and jobs • Some features are not linked in places where it would make sense - You cannot add an external/cash payment to invoice by viewing the invoice. The link to do that is located somewhere else • Did I mention that setting up pipelines and workflows, job tracking, tasks etc is very difficult and counter intuitive?

I am still setting it up to get more out of it, and I am still learning. Once I have it all figured out I think it's going to help me improve in efficiency and cut the time consuming repetitive tasks. Even with the price increase, it's going to help my business grow so it will help the bottom line.

Pros: All-in-one service: client portal, website, documents in the cloud, electronic signature, client management, client communication, etc. Time saving features with automation, bulk emails, among other things. Highly customizable. You can request one on one sessions with the very knowledgeable staff for setting up and questions at no additional charge.

Cons: The learning curve. This is a very useful service and since it's customizable you have to learn how to use it and it's not easy for the amount of features it has, which is a plus, but you have to put the time to take advantage of it. The price was very competitive when I started using it a couple of years ago, and they claimed that it was going to stay the same forever, but it was increased dramatically a few months ago. Still, I have renewed for 3 more years at the higher price because I think it's worth it.

Positive so far. I need to work on the processes so I can build my pipelines and my workflows.

Pros: Easier for clients to access and upload documents

Cons: I have only had one complaint, about uploading documents in the desktop upload folder. The dev team jumped right on it and should have it fixed soon!

Pros: We researched a number of practice management packages but ultimately decided to go with TaxDome due to the number of features it contains, and all its functionality is available to the Pro subscription with unlimited clients, unlike others that increase pricing for certain functionality or when you exceed a certain number of clients. We have not fully implemented yet, so our opinions are based on our experience so far and the research we have done, but we like the portal functionality, the fact that clients can use their mobile devices to upload documents to or view the portal, the integrated e-signatures, and the ability to lock drafts until payment is received.

Cons: During our research, the most-often cited con with TaxDome was the complexity in implementing the system. I would have to agree with this. I think part of the complexity is because of the extreme flexibility and customability of the program. There are numerous videos and help topics available, far more than the other programs we researched. We wish that some of the best practices in setting up things like accounts and contacts were more available, as when you are setting up the program you don't always understand the downstream implications until you get to that part. I think once we work through the heavy lifting of setting up and customizing the program to meet our needs, it will be invaluable to improving the efficiency and technology our firm employs, especially with respect to automation.

Pros: Clients have loved using tax dome. It makes uploading documents for them very easy as the interface is extremely intuitive. I also love that I can white label the software with my own firm’s branding and domain.

Cons: When a client uploads a pdf, there’s no option to rotate the pdf within tax dome (only an issue if the pdf is not facing straight and is uploaded horizontally which is rare)

So far the free trial has been a good amount of time to put TaxDome through the paces with a handful of actual clients. The integration with Zapier has also been key to help easily integrate the tech stack.

Pros: I like the front-end client experience. I've had several compliments on the ease of the client portal and the ease of uploading documents.

Cons: I wish CPA Charge worked with the TaxDome invoice bill payment feature.

Pros: the software supports remote Mobile access to work documents. I view, upload, and share documents with clients from anywhere. This flexibility ensures maximum freedom that you don't have to be tied to your desk to manage essential tax-related paperwork.

Very fair - I cleanly delivered to CPA as Taxdome was not organized

Pros: Secure and easy to upload. The TaxDome easily uploads the files securely, but not folders

Cons: Can only upload files not organized folders. Therefore, if there are a lot of files they appear disorganized. Should have a folder system that could name what's in it, i.e. property taxes, 1099-INT, 1099-NEC, or W2 etc.

Pros: Its easy to setup, create folder structures, invite clients, and share documents back and forth. The price is comparable to other available software. I won't be using the higher end features this upcoming season, but it seems like there are some good automation options that I look forward to trying in the future as my firm grows.

Cons: In order to save on premium features, you need to subscribe for multiple years which is costly ($1800 for 3-years). That may be cost prohibitive early on for your business. For small sole proprietorships, I'd say just stick with basic until you start making serious revenue.

So far TaxDome has been great. There are lots of articles, tools and lessons online. I had an issue with my profile while trying to purchase my license and the support I received was fantastic. Not only was support helpful, they cared and followed up with me until it was resolved.

Pros: I really like that tax dome has everything all in one spot. We can invoice, email, store documents all in one location within a client profile

Cons: Honestly, the price structure. I'd be happy to commit to paying the $600 for three years, but for cash flow, it is a big ask to outlay that amount of cash for several users.

I believe it is a good product just need to learn how to use it better and to my benefit. Their techs are not very helpful at times.

Pros: Being able to have my clients send their documents over to me via portal. Being able to send out mass emails. Templates that are already set up to use.

Cons: My pipeline didn't work and I thought it was me being a first time user come to find out it was and error on their part and no one informed me about it.

Pros: Love how easy for clients to access the program and upload their documents.

Cons: Nothing so far but maybe had a light version for sole proprietors.

TaxDome is great we love the client portal feature along with the clients being able to sign things online without having to exit the client portal and sending the documents through another service. We also love that we can bill our clients using TaxDome.

Pros: It is user friendly and everything we need is all in one.

Cons: We are excited to try out the SMS feature that is in the works.
