So Glad I Started Using TaxDome From Day One
Overall, TaxDome has really helped me streamline my bookkeeping and tax prep. It’s intuitive, secure, and has saved me a ton of time. From automating tasks to securely managing client documents, it’s made my workflow so much smoother. Tax season is always hectic, but with TaxDome, I feel like I have way more control and organization throughout the year.
Pros: The automation and document management features have been huge time-savers. I love that clients can easily upload and sign documents securely—it's made my life a lot easier, especially during tax season. Having everything organized and in one place means I’m not constantly chasing down paperwork, which is a big win for me w both bookkeeping and tax prep.
Cons: For some of my clients who aren’t super tech-savvy, the platform can feel a bit overwhelming at first. It would also be great to see more options for customizing the experience to better suit different clients' needs.
Great Solution and Affordable
Overall, TaxDome does just about everything I need to run my little business (other than bookkeeping). I look forward to figuring out how to use the functions that elude me, currently. In the meantime, being able to exchange documents, receive payment for invoices, and get client signatures remotely in one place is convenient.
Pros: • Client and firm document storage and sharing. • Invoicing options that include one-time and recurring. - Client can pay invoice by following an email link - Integrated payment processing, including ACH for direct bank draw
Cons: • Very confusing to setup workflow, pipelines, tasks, and jobs • Some features are not linked in places where it would make sense - You cannot add an external/cash payment to invoice by viewing the invoice. The link to do that is located somewhere else • Did I mention that setting up pipelines and workflows, job tracking, tasks etc is very difficult and counter intuitive?
A vital tool in growing my business
Taxdome has allowed me to increase my client capacity while also making sure I am giving a good client experience. I recommend it to many of my accounting colleagues and look forward to working with it as they continually upgrade and add tools.
Pros: I love that I can use TaxDome to onboard my clients for bookkeeping and taxes. The organizers are incredibly helpful and versatile in ensuring I have all the information I need. I also really enjoy being able to set up my workflow so that I can see a client's status throughout the month. I've added automation within my workflow (ie send an email reminder, let clients know their reports are ready, etc) and those are huge time savers.
Cons: I would like to see a better proposal system that integrates with pricing (ie they can build their own proposal). I also would like to have the option to pay monthly versus yearly.
Great product for the cost a must have for all small tax and bookkeeping offices.
On a scale of one to ten with ten being the highest. I want to give it a 9 with the reservation once I have it up and fully running it will be a ten. I believe in the product but there is so much to learn I am learning the product so that is why I am currently at level nine.
Pros: I love the fact my emails will sync with my clients so all emails and there sometimes is a lot of them will show on the client page. The ability to take notes on a client.
Cons: The set up videos the presenters go way to fast we had to watch several videos numerous times to try to follow what was happening.

Cons: Doesn't have a specific number to call, I have to use the chat or email
Tracking and Automation are a game changer
Pros: Tax Dome has the ability to set up systems for each of your specific jobs. For example, Tax Returns, Tax Problem Resolution, Bookkeeping, Payroll, etc. Once your workflow is figured out, automated emails and tasks are sent to the client or the person doing the work.
Cons: There is a learning curve, but so does every other software.

Great Practice Management Software for Accounting/Bookkeeping Businesses
Pros: I loved that it encompasses so many of the different types of software into one, even to include a website creation at no extra costs. This streamlines a business and cuts down on costs. I was looking for this since I started my business and glad I gave Tax Dome a chance.
Cons: I don't like the fact that you have to pay for a year subscription up front. I wish there was an option to pay monthly.
Excellent software for tax and bookkeeping businesses!
I love how secure this software is. I used to pick up tax documents in person, but now I'n glad it saves me so much time since clients can send everything virtually. I love the workflow processes, and again, I love how secure this is.
Pros: I love how easy it is to use this software! I love that it integrates with my current payment processor, Stripe, so no need to create a new account. I also love the built in contracts because now I don't have to spend more money on contracts elsewhere.
Cons: I wish taxdome offered monthly subscriptions instead of annual. I think it would be helpful for those still deciding whether they want to pursue tax or bookkeeping in the long run, with no commitment.
TaxDome Review
Good so far. I am canceling old software and switching this due to lower cost and more features.
Pros: I like that I can request KPA Signatures, and send and receive client documents easily for bookkeeping and tax.
Cons: Not super intuitive if you are in a hurry to set up. But taking my time and using tutorials is helping.

Once, you Learn It.. You, will Love It!
I wanted to stay engaged with clients. I'm still learning the automation part, but I can see how it work lovely once I get it set up just right.
Pros: I love the mobile app. Client's can sign up on the go and upload their documents, They receive emails to keep them updated .
Cons: I didn't plan to spend so much to get started. I really only need the product for Tax Season, but since I like it so much, I'm going to use it for my Bookkeeping business as well. Once your signed up, there are perks to help bring down the cost. I'm still new. However, I can say compare to other software, this one is my favorite.
Changing Everything for Us During Tax Season
Pros: The smart tax organizers ensure our clients provide only the information we need, saving both us and our clients valuable time).
Cons: The monthly practice management for bookkeeping clients takes some getting used to and tweaking if you have clients with many different needs
Constantly Upgrading
Everything is all in one place - CRM is great.
Pros: Highly customizable - there are so many different ways to make the system work for your business.
Cons: Better bookkeeping workflows - specifically to incorporate categorizing transactions and reconciling the different bank accounts and cc's that may be assigned to one account.
First time user
Pros: The selling point for me was having a digital organizer with smart questions and being able to have clients upload documents right there. The unlimited storage was also a big key.
Cons: I would like to see them add a way to import the common data entered into the questionnaire be able to import into my tax software to populate a return instead of having to manually type everything. Also a seperate pipeline for prospects for accounting, bookkeeping, taxes, and marketing would be amazing.

An absolute dream. Customer Service is top notch!
Pros: I was looking for a software that was robust and could handle it all and I have found it with Tax Dome. I am beyond grateful for this. This will help me with my tax clients and bookkeeping clients. What a gamechanger!
Cons: I haven't found one yet! I am still looking. LOL. I will let you know if and when I do!
Exceptional Platform for Tax Professionals and Bookkeepers.
Pros: TaxDome is an all-in-one service platform very helpful to tax professionals. I enjoy the different templates as it helps me to provide a more professional look and feel to my clients. I also enjoy the ability to import my clients in a batch rather than one by one. Being able to communicate and do invoicing right from Tax Dome is a win win.
Cons: I was trying to do this all on my own and found the platform overwhelming and I gave up 2 years in a row. But I know TaxDome offers what I need to take my small tax and bookkeeping practice to the next level, so I decided to take advantage of their great customer services support team and it was the best decision I could have made.
Hard to Implement But I'm Optimistic
My hope is to cut back on the administrative time that's crept up on me over the years. When my practice was tiny, I didn't mind. But now that my client base has grown, so has the amount of time I spend on petty admin tasks (e.g. reminder emails, follow ups, task tracking, etc.) No more constructing and reconstructing lists and idle threats! If clients don't follow the next step, they'll be responsible for their own stalls.
Pros: I like the task tracking capabilities and integration with my scheduling and bookkeeping software. Though it's proving difficult for me to learn, TaxDome's support is very generous. This means I'll get out of it what I put in, because anything I run into will be readily addressed by a specialist for free.
Cons: I'd like to see a videoconferencing feature and scheduling built in. But this is only because I could cancel another two subscriptions.
Best Bang For Your Buck
So far, this has been a great investment. The pricing for what you get is very doable, and the fact that I don't have to keep up with a million things anymore is definitely worth the price tag of the software!
Pros: It has all of the management tools you need to keep up with not only your tax clients but also your bookkeeping clients in one place. Before, I was using multiple systems and tools for each, but now I can pretty much use just TaxDome. It has all of the features, including messaging, a client portal, emails, and tasks, and automates just about all of it. You can get very detailed in all of the things you need to do within your practice all inside this software.
Cons: The setup process is very time-consuming, and getting the workflow automations into the system is a bit challenging. Also, clients have to sign up for an account which means that there is another username and password they must remember, which can also be challenging.
Great for tax and bookkeeping practice
It took me about 20 hours to get my pipelines, email and messaging templates, organizers, and contracts all set up in Tax Dome. It sounds like a lot of time, but when you take into consideration it's basically the whole SOP for an accounting firm, that timeframe is extremely fast.
Pros: The client portal is simple to use, setup takes a while but is very thorough.
Cons: Some automation features are hard to implement
