Pros: We researched a number of practice management packages but ultimately decided to go with TaxDome due to the number of features it contains, and all its functionality is available to the Pro subscription with unlimited clients, unlike others that increase pricing for certain functionality or when you exceed a certain number of clients. We have not fully implemented yet, so our opinions are based on our experience so far and the research we have done, but we like the portal functionality, the fact that clients can use their mobile devices to upload documents to or view the portal, the integrated e-signatures, and the ability to lock drafts until payment is received.

Cons: During our research, the most-often cited con with TaxDome was the complexity in implementing the system. I would have to agree with this. I think part of the complexity is because of the extreme flexibility and customability of the program. There are numerous videos and help topics available, far more than the other programs we researched. We wish that some of the best practices in setting up things like accounts and contacts were more available, as when you are setting up the program you don't always understand the downstream implications until you get to that part. I think once we work through the heavy lifting of setting up and customizing the program to meet our needs, it will be invaluable to improving the efficiency and technology our firm employs, especially with respect to automation.

Pros: The client portal, unlimited e-signatures, and job/task management.

Cons: Response time can be slow when pulling up a list of anything... jobs, clients, etc. This is also likely an internet connection/speed issue so not entirely Tax Dome's issue.

We loved TaxDome so much that we switched from Karbon Workflow after 5 years of use because of the client portal and its automation with engagements, tax organizers, client requests, and E-signatures.

Pros: We needed to streamline our client comunnication, and TaxDome's client portal does that. TaxDome has great automation as well that removes admin tasks

Cons: Email syncing and management. With our current project management system, we were able o sync up our inboxes and treat our inbox like a ticket system. TaxDome does not sync up your entire inbox so you need to manage two inboxes.

Great product, and seems to be constantly improving.

Pros: The main features that I'm excited about are the client portals, integrations with CPACharge, and e-signatures.

Cons: There was a small learning curve of the terminology used on the software, but the short videos and 1-on-1 are great!

Pros: Really like the option for e-signatures and also really like that you can set reminders.

Cons: I haven't yet figured out how to use the Z drive--it's on my computer but I can't get e-signatures that way.

E-Signatures, Documents Management, Client Portal.

Pros: I like the ease of use and functionality. It is so worth the cost for small firms. I love the signature functions, and it saves me a lot of administrative time.

Cons: A little bit of a learning curve for some aspects of the software.

Pros: The KBA was critical as was the e-signatures; everything else is new to me.

Cons: It is not entirely intuitive. Help center is making my Webroot give a security warning.

I have received great support through a 45 minute 1-on-1 learning session. Anytime I have had questions, my questions were answered in the chat very quickly and by team members who really cared. The people at TaxDome have really put together a great software package!

Pros: I love that it integrates a CRM feature, with invoice payments, document storage, secure portals for clients, and e-signatures!

Cons: It takes some time to learn all the features it is capable of. With so many different things to pick up on and tips to use the software efficiently, it can be overwhelming trying to assimilate it all.

Next available date for onboarding and/or white glove service too far (3 weeks). Need more templates in Spanish. No option to rename default folders in bulk. No option to select language for Default folders.

I am looking for a streamline process where I can see the flow as to how things move in my virtual accounting and taxation firm and this will allow me to do that while automating workflows. That alone will save me so much time as I put this together.

Pros: Currently I am only going to be using a few of the options that are in the software and am going to transition my clients into using more of the software over the next year. My primary thing that I am looking for is using the CRM, Email and Automated Workflow Options. Oh yeah the unlimited e-signatures is a plus, because I have been going back and forth in between systems and this has been costing my time. I love the fact that I will be able to just come into one system, and watch the workflows go and clearly be able to know when clients AND prospects have done what I need them to do. I want to know as much about client needs before that initial touch point and I know that this is the tool that my firm needs to be able to do just that as we scale.

Cons: Honestly I couldn't locate the webinars easily. I am not saying that I wanted to avoid the Demos, but I would love to have know where the webinars were located sooner so that I could watch the videos since I signed up on a weekend.

Pros: This is a great software that combines the best of tax practice management, client portal, e-signatures, website and more rolled in one. Recommend this highly.
