Overall, TaxDome does just about everything I need to run my little business (other than bookkeeping). I look forward to figuring out how to use the functions that elude me, currently. In the meantime, being able to exchange documents, receive payment for invoices, and get client signatures remotely in one place is convenient.

Pros: • Client and firm document storage and sharing. • Invoicing options that include one-time and recurring. - Client can pay invoice by following an email link - Integrated payment processing, including ACH for direct bank draw

Cons: • Very confusing to setup workflow, pipelines, tasks, and jobs • Some features are not linked in places where it would make sense - You cannot add an external/cash payment to invoice by viewing the invoice. The link to do that is located somewhere else • Did I mention that setting up pipelines and workflows, job tracking, tasks etc is very difficult and counter intuitive?

Pros: TaxDome is very easy to use for both Tax Professionals and clients. Document storage, fillable forms, executing signatures and collecting invoices are simple.

Cons: Not much to dislike! Workflow management, document storage and all other features are great!

Positive so far. I need to work on the processes so I can build my pipelines and my workflows.

Pros: Easier for clients to access and upload documents

Cons: I have only had one complaint, about uploading documents in the desktop upload folder. The dev team jumped right on it and should have it fixed soon!

As we are just setting up our TaxDome, so far it has been painless. Looking forward to using the program.

Fantastic! I have used other programs and TaxDome allows for an easy client management solutions and incorporates all of the necessary integrations to save time.

Cons: Jobs & project workflow takes a little time to become accustomed to.

Pros: I like how it had all inclusive features, though I believe some could be consolidated and flow better, I know that all firms are built differently which is why they have the setup they do.

Cons: The ONLY thing I do not like it that you can't setup more intricate workflows for automated movement in the client pipeline, but again it's understood as to why.

Pros: I love that TaxDome is easy to use and the portal is easy to navigate. I also love all the workflow features.

Cons: It takes a little bit getting used to, especially after using the same portal for the last 10 years. Once you get the hang of it, it is pretty awesome.

I'm still in setup mode, but the more I use it the more I love it!!

Pros: Getting workflow visible and off spreadsheets and calendars will simplify workflow, reduce or eliminate dropped work and increase productivity, Data management all in one place, with remote access will be great! The free training and assistance is great help for the extensive setup process.

Cons: Having to click the box next to each file to move instead of drag and drop is a hassle, Taxdome has a steep learning curve and setup takes a lot of time.

Would not recommend it. In concept, I think TaxDome could be a great product, but it seems like they don't get the user experience and the workflow of actual accountants. I wish as they were developing their features they would jump on calls with clients and observe how they expected the feature to work and make the according changes. I am very tech saavy, but so many of their features are just so unnecessarily cumbersome or don't do what we need them to.

Pros: They are constantly making updates. The client portal is a much cleaner experience then the software we moved from. Customer service is responsive (even if not always helpful; see cons). I like being able to send clients messages and task lists - that is very helpful.

Cons: Customer service is VERY responsive, but they often seem to misunderstand what we are asking. They will propose solutions and workarounds that don't solve the problem we are describing.

There is a very active feedback board that seldom gets comments and updates about where certain features are in the pipeline. As soon as you suggest a feature it's put in the "under review" category but some features have hundreds of votes and have been "under review" for over a year with no comment from TD.

Cons: I wish there was the ability to e-sign in person with a signature pad. Maybe I just haven't found it yet?

Thus far, TaxDome is a great product. I have only scratched the surface of all the features, but it is obviously a very thorough and well thought out product. It is easy for both office staff and clients (via the portal) to use. The TaxDome help and academy are a huge help with setting up and navigating the product. I have an IT background and have worked with and implemented many software applications. TaxDome is one of the best.

Pros: I think our favorite feature is the workflow / pipelines and automation. Those go hand-in-hand and really help us manage and prioritize projects. Also, having the ability for not only our staff, but clients via the portal, to see the status of a return is great.

Cons: The only thing I can think of is showing complete company / account info such as phone, email, address and any custom fields on the Client Info page would be helpful. Especially as we attempt to update current contact information.

Cons: The online signatures need work to make them seamless with workflow

I find that it saves a lot of time and helps maintain things organized and centralized.

Pros: Near all-inclusive solution that has helped elimate other 3rd party services.

Cons: Workflows and customizations aren’t easily searchable. TaxDome App doesn’t allow the creation of accounts or tasks etc.

Pros: I like the proposal to payment capability. I also like the workflows for routine tasks. Client documents and communication are also saved in one place.

Cons: I do wish workflows worked for project work, I am having to use ClickUp for that still.

With TaxDome we were able diversify our accounting services and add subscription base services. TaxDome features allowed us to diversify our products and services and increase revenue streams.

Pros: We love that our clients love it! It's secure, easy to exchange information, documents and connect us with them. Also the ability to build customizable workflows and delegate tasks to our internal staff is so amazing.

Cons: Setting up workflows and automation can take sometime. However, once the workflows and automation are up and running, you'll fall in love with the seamless process.

I can share client info in a secure fashion. I can also get documents signed by my clients faster since my clients are mostly remote.

Pros: Client Portal very user friendly and friendly for my clients as well

Cons: Hard to navigate the workflow system and it seems very time consuming to impliment

The customer service is phenomenal. They will work with you one-on-one as needed to help with any issues.

Pros: The workflow automation has made our monthly tasks so much more efficient! The smart tax organizers and ability to request KBA signatures made tax season much easier.

Cons: Took a minute to get used to the lingo (jobs vs pipelines, etc).

The experience has been positive and the support has been great.

Pros: I like the workflow management best - it allows me to see what work is being worked on and allows for consistency across the client base.

Cons: There is quite a lot of time investment getting things set up at the beginning.
