For invoices, I do use TaxDome reminders if invoices are unpaid. I’ve also integrated my QuickBooks, so it’s all automatically synced. Huge time saver! It’s really easy to categorize the payments. We are also using the function that allows you to lock documents to bills: I can lock documents to make sure I get paid!

How can I connect my TaxDome account to QuickBooks Online?

What data is transferred between QuickBooks Online and TaxDome?

Once the connection is set up, the following information from TaxDome will be available in your QuickBooks account:

  • Payment details, such as transaction date, amount, source and payment ID
  • Invoice details, such as amount and ID. Invoices paid from a user’s balance are also marked as paid in QuickBooks
  • Service details added to the invoice
  • Classes and locations
  • Credit card transaction fee details
  • Customer information
  • Sales tax amount
  • Payment processor fees

Can I choose which client accounts are synced between TaxDome and QuickBooks?

Yes. When setting up the integration, you can customize which accounts to sync between TaxDome and QuickBooks Online, as well as select the specific start date. The default option is to sync only accounts with invoices or payments. Check out our help article on syncing accounts.
